Privacy

Calendar Checkoff is deliberately small. It has no backend, no analytics, and no account system. The extension does its work inside your browser on Google Calendar.

What the extension accesses

When you Alt-click an event (Option-click on Mac), Calendar Checkoff reads that visible event’s title and the page identifier Google Calendar uses for the event. It needs this information only to open the event, add or remove the ✅ prefix, and ask Google Calendar to save the change.

What it collects or stores

Nothing. Calendar Checkoff does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or retain your calendar data. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, cookies, or remote code. The changed event title is saved by Google Calendar under your existing Google account, just as if you had edited the title yourself.

Permissions

The extension runs only on calendar.google.com. It does not request access to your Google account through OAuth, and it does not run on other websites.

Your control

Alt-click or Option-click the event again to remove the checkmark. You can disable or uninstall the extension in Chrome at any time. Uninstalling does not rewrite existing event titles; you can edit those directly in Google Calendar.

This website

This informational site is served by a hosting provider, which may process standard request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the site. Calendar Checkoff does not add its own analytics or tracking to this site.
